Tina’s Spring Makeup Tips

  tina's blog

Spring has officially sprung, although it may not feel like so with this temperamental weather (Did it really hail recently?).  Nonetheless, try out this season’s makeup look by putting natural-looking, yet radiant, skin and pared-back eye on trend.  Although, the best looks from the past few fashion week extravaganzas took beauty to a truly near natural state, yet on closer inspection, you could see that color is big this spring.  For the eye, there was plenty of blue on the runway.  Applications of such color on the eyes were more ethereal when it is brushed on the eyelids and faded up to the crease with the most soft edges as possible.  The subtlety of these colors may also be an effect from the “no-mascara” trend.  Little to no mascara gives you that “au naturale” look that creates a younger look with an innocent feel.  Lips had a brighter hue with a trend towards bold orange giving any skin tone a warm and sunny effect.  If that’s too bold, go with a pastel pink or a blend of pink and coral with a nude lip liner.  So for this Spring’s makeup tips, in essence, it’s all about that raw beauty.  Doing as minimal as possible, but still looking flawless is probably the most modern way of makeup right now.
