Owner/Stylist @ Noe & Union Dana has been in the hair industry for 25+ years and believes wholeheartedly in the transformative power of good hair—no matter how many times you reinvent yourself. In her early days, she was a platform artist for Toni & Guy, traveling all over the U.S. participating in hair shows. She was instrumental in organizing and establishing the education program at Toni & Guy, and became a Salon Educator. Dana draws new inspiration from a dedicated study of street fashion as well as participation in Aveda education. She continues to learn about the latest hair styles and techniques, showcasing Green Twig creations in promotional photo and video shoots. Her work has appeared in magazines such as Nylon, Bust, Elle Online, thebaybridged.com and Beauty Launchpad. Prior to starting Green Twig Salon, Dana worked at salons in the Bay Area and Texas. Though rarely requested, high hair is still part of her skill set.

Stylist @ Noe Customizing beautiful haircuts and rich color is something Jessica is passionate about. She’s lived in San Francisco for the past 10 years and been inspired by music, film, pop and club culture, along with street and urban style. She brings that influence into her work behind the chair, so whether you want a beautiful highlight or a sleek bob, you’ll be in good hands.

Stylist/Makeup Artist @ Union Yasmeen is a California native that spent much of her life in continental Europe, which gives her a unique insight to style globally. She is a Cinta Aveda graduate of Cosmetology and Barbering as well as an Aveda Color Educator. Yasmeen believes that color is a great unifier. She takes on clients with all types of hair textures. She provides seasonal color to her clients but does not shy away from any creative challenges thrown her way. Her greatest pleasure is to make people feel good and give a look that highlights their natural beauty. Her work has been published in Beauty Launchpad magazine. Along with obtaining her cosmetology license in 2008, she attended the Makeup Designory in Burbank, CA shortly after. After developing her skills in Southern California, she moved to San Francisco and joined the Green Twig team in the fall of 2013. Tina’s diverse background and experiences create her unique style and the ability to bring out the natural beauty of each and every guest that sits in her chair. Stylist @ Noe & Union A Northern California native, inspired by both color and light, Alyssa translates that to her attention to detail in hair color, haircutting and in her painting (Alyssa is also an artist/painter in her spare time). With a strong, classical haircutting background and the desire to create beautiful, timeless, personalized color for each guest that is in her chair, it’s no wonder she fits right in with our Green Twig team.

Guest Coordinator @ Noe & Union After growing up in Montana and going to college in Minnesota, Miriam was ready for some sunshine and culture, so she made her home in San Francisco. She takes pride in her work and enjoys bringing great service to our guests. When she’s not at the salon, she’s out making the most of the gorgeous California weather playing soccer, hiking, hitting the beach with friends or catching live music somewhere in the city.

|CHANIN MURPHY Stylist @ Noe Chanin has a great passion for the art of hairdressing. After honing her craft at some of the best salons in San Francisco, such as Di Pietro Todd and Barber Lounge, Green Twig is thrilled to have her on our artistic team. Chanin has 15+ years in the industry. She really enjoys cutting long hair while playing with weight in order to create movement and shape. She also loves creating dimensional effects with color. Chanin is a true artist when it comes to working with geometric shapes to create a unique style for her clients and their individual face shape. With the education and influence of industry leaders such as Aveda, Vidal Sassoon, Bumble and Bumble, and Toni & Guy, Chanin believes that a strong technical background leads to the inspiration and creativity of a great stylist. Chanin is constantly fine tuning her craft with educational inspiration, photo shoots, fashion shows, and has been a part of hairstyling for San Francisco’s Fashion Week.
Stylist @ Noe Juan’s passion for hair comes from his passion for fashion and style. He believes that personal style and aesthetics are so important, since they are the first impression any outsider gets to see. Juan graduated from the prestigious Cinta Aveda Institute in 2015. Since then he has gone through an intensive salon apprentice training under some of the best stylists throughout San Francisco before joining Tease Salon and Green Twig Salon. Juan specializes in dimensional custom balayage, highlights, all over color and classic or contemporary cuts for women.

After cutting his own hair since the age of 14, Dustin entered the world of cosmetology over 10 years ago. Drawing inspiration from everything from street & sub-cultures to tribalism to high fashion, Dustin’s eyes are always open. With a genuine appreciation of the most classic haircutting to avant-garde color techniques, he prides himself on being able to create most anything. When not in the salon Dustin can be found listening to music at home or taking pictures of street art in San Francisco.
Desk Coordinator @ Noe/Union Jasper is a true San Franciscan at heart, having been raised in the city by a single mother. Jasper attended Ruth Asawa School Of The Arts for three years, and graduated from Academy of Arts and Sciences. At 17, they came out as non-binary, and were welcomed with open arms by friends and family alike. They volunteered with JFCS for 5 years, delivering food to homebound individuals with their Chicken Soupers program, and started working in 2012 as a camp counselor at a kids music camp. From there, they went into fashion retail, and have worked at several small clothing shops in San Francisco, reinforcing their passion for mixed prints and flair. In their spare time, Jasper likes to watch Law and Order and Star Trek (Their favorite series is Deep Space 9), spend time with their pets – one dog, two turtles, and a handful of fish – and play Dungeons and Dragons with a small group of friends.
